We are seeking a skilled women's apparel cad designer/print designer. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and, ideally, knowledge of Browzwear & Lotta, but not required. The role responsibilities include creating visually appealing original print & pattern designs for Fortune 500 companies. Additional tasks include creating designs in various media, including web, print, and social media and applying textures/fabrics, & coloring 3D designs for the apparel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design creative concepts for various projects, such as textile pints, retailer CADs, trend presentations, social media graphics, product designs, and packaging.
• Color 3D assets using Browzwear VStitcher/Lotta and work with the product development team to ensure designs meet manufacturing standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to ensure designs align with brand guidelines and company objectives.
• Maintain design consistency across various platforms and media and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Must be experienced enough to see a project through design concept, development, & project execution.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices and implement them into design processes.
• Manage production approvals for all artwork.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in textile design, graphic design, fashion design or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in women's apparel cad design, preferably in apparel, home furnishings, or similar.
• Skills and knowledge:
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of textile printing techniques and fabrics.
• Ability to create original and innovative designs that are on-trend and meet the target market's needs.
• Excellent eye for detail and color.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Self-motivated!
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• This role is not remate. Full-time in office is required. Applicant must reside within a reasonable commutable distance from midtown Manhattan.

• Portfolio of work: Portfolio submission is required. Please supply a link to a digital portfolio with your application. The portfolio should showcase the applicant’s range of skills and experience, as well as their ability to create creative and marketable original designs.
• Knowledge of industry trends: Applicant must be up to date on the latest fashion and home furnishings trends to enable them to create designs that are in demand and sell well.
