Red Mountain Weight Loss is seeking a Web Developer to build, maintain, and optimize our public-facing websites and internal web tools. This role will implement modern, high-quality web experiences using WordPress, React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS. You’ll collaborate with the CTO, marketing, design, and technology teams to deliver performant, accessible, and user-friendly web solutions that support the company’s digital growth strategy.

Responsibilities

1. Develop, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites and supporting front-end components
2. Build responsive, modern web applications using React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business and marketing requirements into technical solutions
4. Implement UI/UX best practices to ensure accessible, high-performing experiences
5. Improve website performance, SEO, and cross-device compatibility
6. Support deployment, hosting, and configuration across cloud/CDN platforms (Cloudflare, AWS, Azure, or similar)
7. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve web issues in staging and production environments
8. Participate in code reviews and adhere to development standards
9. Contribute to Agile development processes, including sprint planning and stand-ups
10. Document features, technical decisions, and implementation details
11. Stay current with emerging web technologies and frameworks

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2. 3–5 years of professional web development experience
3. Strong hands-on experience with WordPress development and customization
4. Experience building front-end applications using React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS
5. Familiarity with Agile development environments
6. Nice-to-have: experience with cloud hosting, CDN configuration, and web infrastructure (Cloudflare, AWS, Azure)

Skills

1. Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end framework knowledge
2. Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and accessibility best practices
3. Experience optimizing websites for performance, SEO, and cross-device compatibility
4. Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
5. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
