We are looking for a full-time Warehouse Associate in our Lake Oconee location.

Weinberger's Furniture is the premier furniture and home décor retailer in the Lake Oconee/Greensboro area.

Provide friendly and efficient service to our customers during merchandise pickups. Help maintain an organized and efficient warehouse, moving our products with care to avoid damage. Our Warehouse Associates are versatile and active professionals, who work as part of a team in the showroom, office and warehouse - anywhere their efforts are needed.

Requirements

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times, abiding by all company safety regulations

• Open and inspect all merchandise for damages
• Good communication skills and are able to read invoices, use computer terminals to look up information.
• All items requiring assembly are properly assembled, tagged and any damage is communicated to manager
• You must be able to use a hand truck, understand assemblies and correctly operate small power tools.
• Associates must be 18 years or older and possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with the ability to drive a 26' box truck when needed.
• Able to successfully complete our pre-employment background and drug screening.

Physical Requirements :
While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to lift products of 75 lbs. without using a lifting device and far in excess of 75 lbs. with the assistance of mechanical and manual lifting devices. Substantial amounts of walking, standing, bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling are required.
