Design end-to-end user experiences from discovery and conception through to design, user testing, development and deployment.
Liaise with Team Leads, product owners and other designers to plan and execute projects.
Advocate responsibly and effectively for the people who will use the services and products you design.
Seek and deliver creative solutions at the intersection of design and technology.
Prepare, facilitate and debrief workshops.
Present to design leadership and stakeholders.
Conduct qualitative research such as depth interviews, contextual inquiries, and user testing to derive practical insights.
Conduct secondary research such as competitor analysis, industry best practice and trends.
Conduct content audits and heuristic reviews.
Create user experience artefacts such as behavioral archetypes, user journeys, touchpoint maps, information architectures, and page architectures.
Sketch concepts to communicate ideas. Prepare and facilitate co-design workshops with stakeholders.
Produce documentation to summarize findings and deliverables. Specify interactions for design and production.
Create prototypes to illustrate interaction design concepts.
Work with established design patterns and components and contributing to the library as needed
Requirements:
4+ years of experience as a hands-on UX Designer working with a product team through development cycle of successfully launched web experiences, mobile apps, and software applications
Demonstrate deep practical knowledge of the principles of human-centered design, UX processes and methodologies.
Comfortable working both independently and in a team
Comfortable working on projects with specific requirements and strict timelines
Experience leading the user experience of services or products
Experience designing for mobile, tablet, and desktop interfaces
Experience designing complex web and native app experiences
Experience designing across multiple channels or touchpoints
