Role: Staff Frontend Engineer

Location: Remote in the US

Salary: $180K - $230K depending on experience + benefits

Responsibilities:

1. Own large components of the company frontend.
2. Design new user interface elements and workflows, iterating on concepts and bringing them from early drafts all the way to pixel-perfect production code.
3. Write lots of code: Conceptualize, build, test, and ship new products and features for our customers.
4. Maintain a high bar for the quality of frontend experience across the company platform, and set the standard for design and interaction polish.
5. Take new features from idea to mockup to fully fledged product.
6. Understand customer feedback and advocate for product direction.
7. Lead, mentor, and learn from other engineers on our growing team.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience with modern frontend technologies and delivering products quickly.
2. Strong track record in building complex, modern web applications.
3. A keen eye for design and a deep appreciation for end-user experience.
4. No specific technology or programming language required. The company values strong engineering fundamentals above all.

Our frontend stack today includes: React (TypeScript), Node.js, Vercel, Postgres, Docker, and AWS, but we expect our technologies to evolve alongside our team and the challenges we take on.
