Job Description:

The Social Media Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's social media presence. This role involves developing and executing social media strategies to maximize engagement, drive direct bookings, and enhance brand visibility. The Social Media Manager will create and manage content across various platforms, analyze performance metrics, and continuously optimize strategies to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Social Media Strategy: Create a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company's goals and target audience. Identify key platforms and tactics to reach and engage with potential customers effectively.
  • Content Management: Oversee the creation of engaging and relevant content for social media platforms, including posts, stories, videos, and advertisements. Provide support and guidance to content creators to ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all channels.
  • Community Engagement: Foster meaningful interactions with the company's audience by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner. Cultivate a positive and engaged community around the brand.
  • Marketing Funnel Development: Build a marketing funnel that guides social media followers through the customer journey, from awareness to conversion. Implement strategies to drive direct bookings and generate leads through social media channels.
  • Performance Analysis and Optimization: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, reach, and conversion rates. Use data analytics tools to track performance, identify trends, and optimize strategies for maximum impact.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to align social media initiatives with broader business objectives. Collaborate with external partners, influencers, and content creators to amplify the brand's reach.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in social media management, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content and campaigns.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and track performance metrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools and software.
  • Passion for travel and a strong interest in the tourism industry.
