Job Description:

To install scanners and fully support the Remote Deposit Capture product. To address a wide range of customer product questions, typically of a more complex nature, primarily supporting internal customers. Maintain effective customer service and sales skills in order to conform to service standards. Complies with all policies and regulations, and ensures that all security measures and controls are adhered to. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.

Education and Experience:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Customer service and/or sales experience
  • Minimum four years Call Center experience or two years Call Center plus 2 years branch, back-office or other customer service experience
  • NBT experience preferred


Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have a positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment.
  • PC skills in a Windows environment to include Word/Excel
  • Technical knowledge of the installation and working knowledge of a PC scanner.
  • Good sales and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to provide comprehensive training to customers.
  • Understand the roles and functions of various internal departments including Deposit and Loan Operations, Item Processing, Statement Rendering, EFT, Remote Deposit Capture and Research.
  • In depth knowledge of bank policies and procedures.


Unique Job Characteristics and Requirements:


Travel required, may include overnights. Valid driver’s license.

Tasks Performed:

 

  • 50% Respond to branch and customer questions regarding products and services, Address issues in a timely and complete manner.
  • 40% Install and fully support Remote Deposit Capture product. Setup of new companies, scanner installation, customer training, assist in problem resolution and act as liaison between the customer and Fiserv for advanced support, Keep customer informed of new, revised services.
  • 10% May assist with work in other Operations Departments. May assist in training of new employees. Other duties as assigned.


Physical Requirements:

 

  • Communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers
  • Stationary 75% of time or greater
  • Move Objects to Maximum 10 lbs
