Boswell Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager in the electric utility industry.

Responsibilities:

Project managers will be assigned projects that range from replacing a breaker at a substation to an entire new substation and/or transmission line upgrades
Typical substation projects may be breaker replacement, cap bank heaters, bus work, transformer replacement, control house rehab or replacement, extending a substation yard, or a new substation
Typical transmission line projects may be replacing insulators, replacing the OPGW, adding circuits, or a new transmission line
Project managers may also be assigned transmission line routing studies
The client will provide all of the necessary training for both the project management system that is utilized and all of the mandated client safety training and FERC training
Project managers shall attend meetings at the client’s Morristown office
Adhere to internal standards, policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

BS degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
Formal project management training
At least five (5) years of project management experience
Experience in managing substation and/or transmission line projects
