**Must have licensed product experience along with Hardline Design knowledge
**Ideally experience designing for tabletop products (dishes, drinkware, cookie jars, etc)
**Sculpting experience is a huge plus
**7 month contract, 40 hour work week and 100% remote

- Designing tabletop products (e.g., dishes, drinkware, cookie jars)
- Sculpting experience is highly valued due to 3D product needs
- Graphic Design Skills – Must be able to sketch, draw, and create overlays to course correct designs
- Licensed Product Experience – Should understand how licensed businesses operate (e.g., apparel, toys like Mattel)
- Hardlines Design Knowledge – Needs a graphic designer with experience in materials, form, and sculpting for hard goods
Details:
- Owns day-to-day design and development of licensed and owned products from concept to production
- Designs trend-right, consumer-focused product lines across multiple business models (licensing, wholesale, vertical)
- Supports category growth through trend research, retail pitch tools, and onboarding of licensees and partners
- Oversees direct report(s) and manages multiple design projects at varying levels of complexity across global markets
- Manages approvals, samples, fit sessions, packaging, and innovation (including 3D modeling or electronic components if needed)
- Collaborates with a wide range of internal/external stakeholders to ensure quality, storytelling, and brand alignment
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., industrial design, toy design, fashion design, graphic design) is ideal
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of hardlines and/or softlines (materials, manufacturing, print, textiles, graphics)
- Skilled in product design: sketching, 3D modeling, technical specs, art manipulation, fabric/trim ID
