About the Company: We are delighted to be partnered with a leading renewable energy company who are looking for a Process Improvement Engineer to join their team.

About the Role: Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will support the operations team from within the engineering team to propose and execute capital improvement projects on operational sites, and optimize digester performance on RNG sites.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to chemical, mechanical, and biological aspects of production fleet and provide operational enhancement recommendations.
• Utilizes technical expertise to identify and implement operational strategies for enhancing plant operations production
• Assists in the transition of new anaerobic digestion (AD) projects from commissioning phase to full operation.
• Helps establish a standardized process for capital improvement projects, spanning from project identification and business case development to operational implementation.
• Collaborates with engineering, feedstock sales, and development teams to evaluate new opportunities and technologies, and contributes to the development of business cases as needed.
• Manages multiple complex operational and capital improvement projects concurrently.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, environmental engineering, or similar
• 3+ years of engineering or operations experience in a similar role
