Job Summary:
The Process Engineer is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product quality, process efficiency, and compliance with AS9100 requirements within the organization. This role involves a combination of quality control, process improvement, and capital equipment integration to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Process Improvement:

• Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency improvements while aligning with AS9100 guidelines.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement process changes and enhancements that meet AS9100 standards.
• Utilize process improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence.
• Integrate automation solutions into manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and AS9100 compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and validation of automation systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and validation of new equipment.
• Provide training to production personnel on quality control processes, automation, and AS9100 compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, process changes, automation implementations, and improvements, following AS9100 and environmental compliance requirement.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards, industry regulations, and quality management systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineer or mechanical engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in quality control, process improvement, automation, and capital equipment integration, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Knowledge of AS9100 standards, quality management systems, and automation principles.
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Local to Fontana, CA or within a reasonable commute distance
