The Role:

Flomatic Valves is looking for an individual who possesses exceptional communication skills, a strong analytical mind, a positive attitude, and a desire to continuously learn and improve. The ideal candidate should also be proficient in problem-solving and have a solid grasp of technical skills related to marketing and advertising. This role requires someone who will effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive data-driven insights, and develop and execute marketing campaigns that achieve measurable results.

Thrive in a B2B Environment:

Flomatic designs and manufactures complex industrial products for other businesses. Your B2B experience will be key to understanding and crafting targeted marketing messages for our audience. Manufacturing know-how is a bonus: Understanding the intricacies of manufacturing will allow you to better communicate the value proposition of our products and target the specific needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Execute Campaigns: Create and manage multi-channel digital marketing and advertising campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and industry publications. Track and analyze performance using tools like Google Analytics, providing regular reports on effectiveness, audience growth, and engagement. Optimize campaigns for maximum impact and ROI.
  2. Collaborate and Create: Work with freelancers and internal teams to create optimized advertising and marketing copy for digital and other platforms. Provide feedback and guidance on copy concepts aligned with brand messaging and technical expertise.
  3. Brand and Promote: Ensure marketing and promotional materials adhere to brand guidelines and effectively communicate technical expertise and product value propositions. Review and edit content from freelancers and internal teams as needed for digital optimization.
  4. Agency Coordination: Coordinate with external agencies for SEM, PPC, and social media paid campaign management. Ensure alignment with overall marketing strategy and collaborate to develop new ideas for effective campaigns.
  5. Sales Partnership: Forge strategic partnerships with the sales team to cultivate seamless customer journeys and amplify sales force effectiveness. Jointly plan marketing initiatives and provide ongoing support with sales enablement materials and targeted marketing campaigns.
  6. Champion Culture: Develop engaging initiatives to foster a positive and productive work environment. Craft compelling employer branding and marketing messaging to attract like-minded talent and strengthen our brand image externally.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Update Flomatic’s website as needed.
  2. Distribute press releases, product announcements, and marketing collateral.
  3. Manage online profiles in associations, social media, and other industry accounts.
  4. Manage third-party profiles and related accounts.
  5. Assist with organizing and coordinating trade shows, customer events, and internal events.
  6. Participate in various marketing programs and initiatives.
  7. Support the planning and execution of webinars, workshops, and other promotional activities.
  8. Collaborate on special projects and campaigns as needed.
  9. Take initiative in creating multimedia content, including photography and video production, to support marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of proven work experience in marketing and advertising.
  3. Strong technical background and experience managing CRM systems.
  4. Proven project management skills.
  5. Experience in industrial manufacturing and B2B marketing is a plus.
  6. Proficiency with Adobe CC, particularly Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
  7. Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) certification or equivalent experience using web analytics platforms and managing PPC campaigns on Google Ads. Experience with social media advertising platforms (like LinkedIn Ads) is a plus.
  8. A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and take on diverse tasks.
  9. Ability to pick up a camera, create video content, or develop scripts for videos as needed.
  10. Experience in delegating tasks effectively and managing projects from start to finish.
