ControlPoint Technologies is seeking a Lead Civil Structural Engineer to support our Engineering and Design teams. This position is available on a Full-Time basis.

The position will include project engineering and technical review of projects for electric utility transmission and distribution systems with voltage levels from 5 kV to 345 kV. Candidates must have proven knowledge of electric utility projects from the planning stages through detailed design and construction.

Responsibilities Include:

• Scope of work development and conceptual designs.
• Equipment general arrangement including plans, profiles.
• Detailed design and calculations including structural steel, foundations, oil containment system, below grade cabling, trenching, grounding, manhole design.
• Prepare utility required calculations.
• Cable and conduit schedules.
• Project civil structural bill of material.
• Candidates will need to be accountable, professional, and exceed customer expectations.
• Effective communication to project stakeholders
• Professional representation of firm ensuring customer confidence.

Qualifications for the Role:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Structural Engineering
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in utility substation design
• Professional Engineering (PE) License is required.
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Proficiency with RISA 3D and other civil structural modeling software
• AutoCAD and/or Microstation experience.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
