A leading biopharmaceutical company that specializes in research, development and manufacturing of innovative therapeutics.


Job Locations/ Territories:

East Coast : (Six Territories) :

(1) Boston – Massachusetts (2) Pittsburgh – Pennsylvania (3) Columbus-Ohio (4) Washington, D.C. (5) Virginia (6) New York including Long Island


West Coast : (Three Territories) :

(1) Orange County, CA (2) Phoenix, AZ (3) Minnesota, MN


Position Summary:

Reporting to the Area Director, the Key Account Director (KAD) is responsible for identifying, developing and executing business strategic plans in launching and selling products of the company. Other responsibility includes analysis of sales data to identify opportunities for business growth in assigned territory.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop account strategy and plans to deliver sales results.
  2. Identify opportunities and strategies to improve the positioning of products at a local level.
  3. Engage HCPs in dialogue about approved indications, product efficacy/safety profiles and treatment protocols to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
  4. Establish and maintain ongoing, long-term collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
  5. Deliver plans and achieve sales goals on budget.


Work Experience:

  1. Minimum of 10 years of experience in Pharma-Commercial, pre-launch launch, and post-launch of products.
  2. Must have extensive experience in Rheumatology product Sales


Qualification:

  1. Extensive knowledge and experience in Rheumatology and biologics, biosimilars and the full life cycle of product launch and post launch.
  2. Solid business acumen, including the ability to access and interpret company provided territory data to incorporate into call planning and execution.
  3. Both a team player and individual contributor.


Education:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree required in business or related field; advanced degrees, MBA, MS in business or related field is a plus.
