• Proven track record operating within effective privacy programs with a spirit of continuous improvement.
• Experience in writing policies and trainings, assessing risks, and responding to incidents in the health and privacy space.
• Knowledge of privacy frameworks and compliance requirements in the healthcare industry, including HIPAA.
• Ability to understand privacy risks and explain them to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of privacy industry experience (more experienced candidates are encouraged to apply).

The Amazon Health Services (AHS) Privacy team is seeking a talented Privacy Analyst to support the AHS Privacy program. This individual will have the opportunity to define and implement mechanisms to protect customers’ health data, comply with applicable regulations, and reduce privacy risks. The successful candidate must be inquisitive, creative, and enthusiastic about healthcare and technology, driven to innovate on behalf of customers, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills even in ambiguous situations.

• Certification in Privacy from an industry-recognized body (e.g., IAPP, HCCA, etc.)
• Experience in a dedicated privacy role within the healthcare industry.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market.
