Seeking a Design System UX Researcher to lead efforts in measuring and improving the end-to-end experience of onboarding users to a theme-able design system for commercial product digital experiences. This role focuses on validating experience design decisions, assessing the effectiveness of design system processes, and driving improvements aligned to evolving design system standards.

Design System UX Researcher Duties
- Define and implement strategies for measuring the success of onboarding and adoption of a theme-able design system.
- Plan and conduct research activities specific to the design system, including user interviews, usability testing, and evaluation of both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Synthesize insights, identify pain points, and recommend actionable improvements to the design system workflows, components, and assets.
- Align research and recommendations with existing and evolving design system standards at both local and global levels.
- Collaborate with design, business, technology, and leadership teams to shape and prioritize design system strategy and enhancements.
- Support piloting, iteration, and maintenance of design system workflows and assets to better meet user and business needs.
Design System UX Researcher Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in Design System UX Research — focused on design system workflows, components, and standards, not general UX research.
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong background in conducting and applying user research specific to design system adoption and usage.
- Experience planning and executing user interviews, usability tests, and synthesizing data to inform design system improvements.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with design, business, and technology teams in a complex environment.
- Familiarity with design systems, theme-able frameworks, and design system governance.
- Excellent communication, synthesis, and presentation skills to convey research insights and recommendations clearly.
