CACI’s Network Integration Solutions (NIS) organization offers opportunities supporting Department of Defense (DoD) with communication systems modernization projects. Our talented team of Network and Cybersecurity professionals help design, develop, procure, implement, operate/sustain, and enhance DoD networks and cybersecurity posture in support of national security.
What You’ll Get To Do
Your focus will be Data Network Engineering focused on UC/VoIP in support of Army transition from legacy TDM systems. This position will require travel (50%-75%).
You Will
- Conduct site-surveys at multiple Army sites throughout Europe documenting current network, voice, and power infrastructure.
- Support the development of designs and participate in reviews with the customer.
- Remediate site infrastructure to support new equipment based on the approved design specifications.
- Stage, configure and test solutions / equipment in a lab environment to include security configuration and testing.
- Conduct systems pre-test and acceptance tests to validate the designed performance criteria based on approved test plan.
- Install / Configure equipment on-site and cutover legacy systems to new solution.
- Decommission, de-install, and turn-in legacy equipment.
- Develop and perform technical presentations for customers.
- Serve as technical resource at customer briefings.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians
- Serve as technical lead on projects.
- Understand and adhere to all CACI Ethical and Compliance policies.
- Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to CACI EH&S policies and procedures.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
- Must possess or quickly obtain (within 3 months of hire) industry certifications for security (Security+, CISSP, etc.) and a network or server certification (CCNA, VCTA, Microsoft, etc.) to be 8570 IAT Level II compliant.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or related field or 5-7 years data networking experience
- 2-3 years’ experience with designing, deploying, and maintaining UC-Voice solutions.
- Secret (or higher) DoD security clearance
- Ability to travel 50%-75% to customer locations.
- Survey, Design and Systems integration and testing experience of UC-Voice and data networks.
- Experience with data network switching and routing.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and develop site survey reports and design packages to include experience with Visio.
- Flexible, decisive & proactive problem solver in a fast-paced environment Internal and external customer interface experience
- Demonstrated Leadership skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office applications
These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have
- Experience working with DoD voice or data networks.
- Experience with Avaya, Cisco and/or Ribbon voice solutions
- Experience with VMware and/or Red Hat Linux
- Experience with DoD network cyber security and DISA STIG requirements
- Experience in using drawing tools such as Microsoft Visio or AutoCAD

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $68,400-$143,700. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
