Global Financial Firm located in New York City, NY has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Content Writer

"This role is currently on a Hybrid Schedule.
You will need to have reliable internet, computer and android or iphone for remote access into the client systems during remote work.
We will be expected in the office weekly 1-3 days depending on the team requirement.

Title: Content Writer

This content writer will work on specific projects for both Law Firm Group and Wealth at Work.
1. Work with Head of Law Firm Group Advisory Head to write/edit their signature annual year- end review of Legal Industry as well as forward thoughts on expectations on Legal Industry. This major paper will be due to print by end of November so work on this begins immediately upon hire.
2. Assist co-author/edit content pieces on financial wellness and assist marketing team on content development as needed.
3. Edit and write thought leadership material

Key responsibilities:
1. Assist with the creation and curation of content
a. Edit material created by our thought leaders within the plans
b. Write material under the direction of the businesses

Person profile:
1. Strong communicator in all respects
2. Ability to write concise, engaging, and insightful investment and other financial content. For example, Mortgages, escrow, financial planning, Cash balance pension plans, and lending.
3. Editing and proof reading skills, excellent eye for detail
4. Ability to address a range of different subjects, both investment and general business
5. Ability to write for both digital and printed media, knowledge of optimizing content for digital
6. Good understanding of financial products
7. Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines

4. Investments writing
5. Robust investments knowledge

Graduate Degree or equivalent
