The Job:

Best Egg is seeking a Communications and Content Associate to join the Best Egg Brand Strategy team. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Communications and Content. In this role, you will translate the Best Egg brand into a variety of short and long-form content to help our customers understand our products and ways they can use them to improve their financial circumstances. This will include working with team members in marketing, product, communications, digital, creative, and analytics, as well as aligning all messaging with our brand voice and guidelines.

The right candidate will be an exceptional writer who can partner with designers to create compelling and relatable content that speaks directly to our customers. You will be successful if you love writing, enjoy creative collaboration, have a deep understanding of how to effectively translate a brand voice, and have experience writing across a variety of marketing channels.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Partner closely with cross-functional teams to produce consistent, high-quality content, including, but not limited to email, direct mail, blog posts, web pages, newsletters, social posts, and video scripts.
2. Partner with UX designers to develop content for web and mobile experiences, as well as landing page content.
3. Help strategize, implement, and maintain a consistent content strategy throughout the product experience, reviewing customer insights to best understand how they interact with our platform, using data to inform decisions, and building alignment between UX and marketing content.
4. Help drive content through a multi-step approval process with internal stakeholders, compliance, legal, internal experts, SMEs, etc.
5. Be proficient with AI tools to help create content.
6. Coordinate with your brand and communications team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the customer experience is seamless across products and channels

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree – Communications, Journalism, Marketing, PR (preferred)
2. 3+ years’ experience in copywriting, content strategy and development, or digital marketing. (preferred)
3. Willingness to learn about financial services and creating digital content for a financial platform
4. Ability to simplify complex concepts into compelling narratives across multiple channels
5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
6. Experience in coordinating, prioritizing, and managing concurrent projects and deadlines
7. Adaptability to evolving needs and priorities
8. Experience working with multiple stakeholders and working cross-functionally
9. Exceptional attention to detail
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
11. Copyediting experience with documented standards including brand guidelines, style, voice, and tone

$68,000 - $85,000 a year

In addition to semi-monthly salary payments, this position is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance. Yearly incentive bonus target is 20%.
