Our client is seeking quality Aviation Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) to join their growing team at their new maintenance facility.

You need some working experience on piston-powered aircraft, preferably Cessna 172, Piper PA-28, and Piper PA-44.

Aviation Maintenance Technician Position Overview
You will work as a team member performing inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on piston flight training aircraft. You must possess the appropriate personality to work in a fast-paced aviation environment while maintaining a constant focus on safety and quality.
You must also possess the ability to move through computerized logbook management systems dynamically, adhere to the maintenance and manufacturer manuals, and make safety-focused decisions on a day-to-day basis.
Minimum Qualifications For The Aircraft Mechanic / Aircraft Maintenance Technician
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
- 2 or more years of piston-powered aircraft maintenance experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer manuals
- Possess adequate tools
Desired Qualifications
- FAA Inspection Authorization
- Private pilot’s license
- Avionics troubleshooting experience (Garmin integrated avionics)
Responsibilities
- Perform efficient troubleshooting, aircraft maintenance, and repair in accordance with applicable aviation regulations, manufacturer’s instructions, and company policies
- Ensure consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting & completing required forms, computer entries, and logbook entries
- Follow all policies and procedures
- Keep a clean and orderly work environment
- Perform job duties in a safe manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
