Robert Half's marketing & creative client is looking for a Web Accessibility Specialist for a 2-month contract in the Greater Boston area. This is a remote, 40-hour-per-week opportunity; candidates must be willing to work eastern (ET) hours. The Web Accessibility Specialist will be assisting in a large website overhaul and will play a key role in advancing digital inclusivity and compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform accessibility audits, including manual testing of websites and pages
2. Resolve accessibility issues
3. Ensure WCAG compliance and implement ARIA best practices
4. Collaborate with web teams and other stakeholders

Qualifications:

1. Degree in communication, technology, or related
2. 2+ years of web accessibility experience
3. HTML/CSS skills
4. Familiarity with content updates
5. Experience using screen readers and assistive technologies tools (SiteImprove, WAVE, etc.)
6. Familiarity with ARIA best practices
7. Self-starter
8. Detail-oriented
9. Excellent communication and project management skills
10. IAPP certification a plus
