Social Media Manager (Web3 & Crypto)

Location: Remote - Strong preference for EU candidates, will consider Asia

Compensation: $40K - $50K

We are seeking a talented and high-energy Social Media Manager to serve as the voice of our brand across the Web3 ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for producing compelling content that cuts through the noise and maintaining a pulse on our community’s heartbeat.

The ideal candidate isn't just a social media expert; they are crypto-native. You understand the nuances of "Crypto Twitter," the pace of Discord, and the unique culture of Telegram. You will bridge the gap between complex blockchain concepts and engaging storytelling, ensuring our community remains informed, excited, and supported.

What You Will Do

1. Content Creation: Produce high-quality, engaging written content, ranging from deep-dive long-form threads to punchy, short-form posts.
2. Platform Management: Execute tailored strategies across X (Twitter), Telegram, and Discord.
3. Community Advocacy: Actively communicate with community members, addressing complaints with empathy and tact, and skillfully turning negative interactions into positive brand experiences.
4. Trend Monitoring: Stay at the forefront of the industry by tracking the latest trends, memes, and technical developments in the crypto and blockchain space.
5. Agile Execution: Rapidly produce and iterate on content in a fast-paced environment where news cycles move in minutes, not days.

Requirements

1. Exceptional Writing Skills: A mastery of grammar and tone, with the ability to adapt your "voice" to suit different audiences and platforms.
2. Crypto Nativity: A deep, first-hand understanding of the crypto space, DeFi, and blockchain technology.
3. Agility: Comfort working in a high-speed environment with the ability to turn around quality content on short notice.
4. Resilience & EQ: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage community sentiment and de-escalate conflict.
5. Organization: Excellent time management skills to balance multiple platforms and content calendars simultaneously.

1. Data-Driven Mindset: Experience analyzing performance metrics to refine content strategy and increase engagement.
2. Technical Literacy: A background in technical writing or the ability to translate complex "whitepaper-speak" into digestible content for the general public.
