We are looking for someone who is passionate about all things SEO to work on our Digital Marketing team. The SEO Specialist will focus on our B2C marketing efforts that serve a broad range of clinicians in fulfilling their continuing education requirements as well as supporting them along their career journey. We need someone who is skilled at managing SEO projects, such as content and technical fixes. The ideal candidate will have a good grasp of both on-page and off-page optimization and technical SEO.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Perform keyword research and competitive analysis to find new keyword and content opportunities.
• Audit websites regularly for technical issues and work with our developers and engineers to resolve.
• Execute on-page optimizations and updated in content management systems (CMS) 
• Monitor and report on KPIs for SEO. 
• Maintain/grow subject matter knowledge by staying current on industry news, platform updates, product enhancements & innovations. 
• Other duties as assigned. 

YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of recent SEO experience, or Associate degree and 5+ years of recent SEO experience
• Strong spelling, grammar, and creative writing skills. Ability to listen effectively and translate verbal communication into written plans, ask relevant questions, and provide feedback. 
• Detail-oriented skills, are highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks 
• Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
• Efficient time management skills with minimal supervision and can meet deadlines, and ability to respond in a timely manner
• Ability to seek out information and enjoy learning new skills, tools, and processes. Ability to stay up to date on changes/trends in the social media field. Desire to ask questions and takes advantage of learning opportunities.
• A natural curiosity about tracking results, ability to create stories out of data that is presented to them 
• Intermediate proficiency with Google Search Console
• Intermediate proficiency with Ahrefs (or similar tools like Moz, SEMRush) to use for keyword research, and conduct page ranking, traffic, and content gap analyses
• Intermediate Google Analytics skills for data analysis
• Intermediate knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
• Basic HTML code knowledge
