What will your day look like? As a Sales Lead, you will:
- Work as the sole salesperson to refine and design a sales process for the company. You will perform as a primary contributor towards building the sales pipeline for the next 18 plus months, with the opportunity to advance to a managerial role (if desired) in the future.
- Stay up to date with frequent and rapid feature releases while problem solving on the spot using knowledge of upcoming and released features in the pipeline.
- Use your patience, customer service, and tech savvy to work with small businesses and non technical personnel on the ins and outs of a business app.
- Always be sourcing for new ideas, new sales leads, and new processes that can improve sales conversion and pipeline.
- In addition to sales, you will be tasked with various projects, such as creating sales materials, working with founder to explore partnership opportunities or to develop a profitable and scalable sales process, working with marketing on campaigns to nurture leads, and more.
- Be part of a close knit team at a rising startup with the ability to grow professionally as they scale.
You will be a good fit for the Sales Lead role if you have:
- 2 plus years of experience as a full time Account Executive
- Positivity, a thick skin, empathy, and the fearlessness to cold call new leads and known on doors. The ability to think creatively to get things done is key.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Flexibility, adaptability, strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Enough technical savvy and know how to be able explain technical features to a non technical audience.
- The motivation and drive to thrive in an outcomes based versus metrics based environment. You will be helping to build out the metrics and “write” the sales playbook for the company.
