We are looking for a Product Designer - Digital Designer/UX/UI with a strong digital and UX/UI background to join our School Marketing Team on a contract

basis to support the implementation and roll-out of branding for four online public schools. In this role, you’ll be taking the new branding and Figma design system and translating it across digital assets and properties from website to campaign to collateral. You’ll collaborate closely with copywriters, developers, and marketers to craft cohesive, intuitive designs and work with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency.

Essential Functions:

  1. Digital Design Creation: Conceptualize and design digital assets including Figma-based Wordpress websites, landing pages, email templates, advertisements, social media graphics, and more to support marketing campaigns and collateral.
  2. UX/UI and User-Centered Design: Create wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and designs that are seamless, aesthetically appealing and user-friendly experiences across web and mobile platforms. Applying best practices in UX and UI and mobile first design for accessibility and maximum usability and conversions.

  4. Brand Application & Consistency: Take newly developed brand assets and systems to create digital marketing assets and properties. Ensure that all marketing design assets align with our brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in visual design, typography, color schemes, and overall brand aesthetics.
  5. Collaboration: Work cross-functionally and closely with marketing, product, and development teams to align design solutions with strategic objectives and ensure a cohesive brand experience across all touchpoints.
  6. A/B Testing & Optimization: Assist with the creation and iteration of design elements for A/B testing, ensuring optimization of landing pages, emails, and ads to improve engagement and conversion rates.
  7. Analytics-Driven Design: Collaborate with the data and marketing teams to analyze user data and insights, using this feedback to inform design iterations and improvements.
  8. Market Research: Stay informed on current design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing and product design to keep our designs fresh, innovative, and competitive.
  9. Cross-Platform Design: Ensure designs are optimized for multiple devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones, providing a consistent experience across all channels.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  1. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in product design, digital design, or UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating design work in digital marketing, e-learning, or a related field.
  2. Design Tools Expertise: Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) Figma and Canva.
  3. Understanding of UX/UI: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility, wireframing, prototyping, and creating responsive web and mobile designs.
  4. Portfolio: A portfolio that showcases a variety of design projects, ideally including marketing or educational web design, landing pages, and digital ads, with a focus on user experience and conversion optimization.
  5. Collaboration Skills: Strong communication skills and experience working within cross-functional teams (marketing, development, product, etc.) to bring design projects to life.
  6. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail in both visual design and user experience, ensuring that designs meet both functional and aesthetic goals.
  7. Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to approach design challenges with creativity, strategic thinking, and a focus on business goals.
  8. Agile Workflow: Experience working in an agile environment and ability to iterate quickly and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Desired Skills:

  1. Web Development Knowledge: Familiarity with Wordpress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus, especially for better collaboration with developers.
  2. Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and how design impacts lead generation and user engagement.
  3. Analytics Tools: Experience with analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar tools to inform design decisions based on user data.
  4. Motion Design: Familiarity with animation or motion graphics for digital ads or promotional content is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

  1. We anticipate this position will pay $39.42- $63.08per hour. This is a temporary/contractor role, and you will be an employee of Randstad. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
