The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that enhances our digital presence across multiple platforms. This role will create engaging, high-quality content for social media, email campaigns, website pages, blogs, video scripts, and advertisements. The ideal candidate has a strong background in content creation, digital marketing, and brand storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
β Research: Analyze market data, consumer insights, competitor offers/products to identify trends and opportunities.
β Develop Campaigns: Create and execute campaigns for branding, lead generation, and new offers
β Content Development: Create, edit, and publish engaging written and visual content, including blog posts, website copy, email campaigns, social media posts, video scripts, and promotional materials.
β Social Media Content: Develop and execute social media strategies across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant platforms to increase engagement and brand awareness.
β Video & Multimedia Content: Collaborate with the creative team to develop video content, including customer testimonials, promotional videos, and behind-the-scenes brand stories.
β Email Marketing: Create and schedule email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, promote offers, and engage past customers.
β Event Marketing & Management: Oversee our in-person marketing opportunities to provide the most value per event.
β Advertising Support: Assist in the development of paid advertising content for Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other digital campaigns.
β Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze key performance metrics to optimize content strategy and improve engagement
Required Qualifications, Experience and Education:
β Experience:
β Experience in Content marketing, social media management, or digital marketing.
β Experience in video content creation and/or working with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
β Basic knowledge of SEO best practices and Google Analytics.
β Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Buffer).
β Skills & Competencies:
β Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
β Ability to produce compelling visual and written content for different marketing channels. (graphics & videos too)
β Understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and engagement strategies.
β Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
β Creative mindset with a passion for marketing and content innovation.
β Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
β Basic graphic design or video editing skills.
β Experience in home improvement, flooring, or related industries.
β Familiarity with CRM and email marketing platforms (HubSpot, Mailchimp, etc.).
