Contract Opportunity: Sports Marketing & Sponsorship Specialist

3. Compensation: $40–$45/hr W2 (1.5x overtime)

About The Role

We are seeking a Sports Marketing & Sponsorship Specialist to support activating a national sponsorship portfolio for a leading organization. This role is perfect for a strategic, creative-minded marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about sports sponsorships. You'll work on high-visibility projects across owned, paid, and earned media channels, helping to bring sponsorship activations to life.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sponsorship Activation: Support marketing campaigns and sponsorship activations across multiple sports properties.
2. Creative Development: Assist in developing marketing assets, including digital/social content, presentations, and promotional materials.
3. Project Management: Coordinate sponsorship reviews, approvals, and execution with internal stakeholders.
4. Social Media & Communications: Work with internal teams to manage social media strategies and amplify sponsorship activities.
5. Paid Media Support: Assist in implementing and measuring media plans across digital, social, and traditional channels.
6. Event Marketing: Collaborate on promotional campaigns, hospitality integration, and brand engagement strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

1. 3+ years of experience in sports marketing, sponsorships, or related fields
2. Strong PowerPoint skills (ability to create polished presentations for leadership and stakeholders)
3. Creative thinker with problem-solving skills and attention to detail
4. Experience managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
5. Passion for sports and a solid understanding of sports marketing principles
6. Comfortable working in a virtual setting with shifting priorities and multiple stakeholders
