This is a onsite position in Sauk Rapids MN.
Objectives of this role:
The Marketing Manager will provide key direction and input to marketing strategy along with key marketing tools and resources that are integral to the success of the company. This person will also support field sales activity by providing timely information to company sales representatives and channel partners. They will develop and manage cross-functional projects that grow brand awareness for the company.
Key responsibilities include the management, development, and implementation of product marketing activities to maximize success of an assigned product line. Manage a small team of marketing specialists and manage the social media manager. Total number of direct reports will be four and the social media manager will have two direct reports. Ensure profitable development of sales and market share for the product groups managed, based on defined output parameters (e.g. budget) on a nationwide level.
New product launches (General)
- Develop business plans for new products. Guide product development projects in line with our strategic objectives in coordination with the respective counterparts in Research & Development, Operations, and sales.
- Develop marketing and sales collaterals (contents) for new product launches in line with corporate design guidelines.
- Identify and rank new product concepts for commercialization
- Market research and voice-of-customer assessments, in order to generate customer and market insights in collaboration with corporate research.
- Creation and delivery of commercial product trainings to management. Guide & support development of Rep training materials and demo tools.
Existing product range
- Lifecycle management for the existing product range, market environment analysis, and market surveillance.
- Development of concepts and support materials for the expansion of market share.
- Implementation of promotional strategies in cooperation with key markets.
Competitor activities
- Continuous monitoring of competitor activities as well as the development of response plans.
Marketing collaterals/Packaging
- Development of English master versions for marketing collaterals (brochures, advertisement, presentations, videos etc.)
- Develop layout/design and packaging details for all new portfolio SKUs in line with corporate guidelines and in collaboration with local packaging engineers/operations.
- Interface with external lead agencies for advertising, research and PR

- Manage global composite and compomer portfolio, including legacy product lines and development projects
Digital Marketing Responsibilities
- Create digital strategy and execution plan for both brands digital ecosystem (social media, paid media, website/e-commerce, email, and collaborations)
- Maintain consistency and excellence in our emerging markets and across our platforms, as well as help improve the audience and engagement growth strategies and tactics.
- Adept at creating and maintaining a yearly digital budget that complements digital strategy.
- Understand consumer’s interests, concerns, needs and interests to help ensure our content strategy is on target for our audience.
- Be fluent in analyzing paid media, optimizing ad spends and reporting metrics.
- Have a deep knowledge of analytics and social tools. (Google Analytics, paid media analytics tools)
- Continuously test new marketing channels, merchandising features, and other business opportunities to improve the customer experience and grow revenue.
eCommerce Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to rapidly achieve multi-fold growth in direct-to-consumer and Business-to-Business revenue while meeting brand and profitability objectives.
- Drive traffic and acquire new customers through a wide range of digital marketing channels such as search engine marketing, display advertising, social media, and third-party relationships.
- Work within the brands content management systems (WooCommerce, Amazon, Shopify) to manage the website activities and execute goals.
- Execute strategies and partnerships with retailers around customer-specific programs, channel-specific ad spends, growing reviews on third-party retail sites.
- Write and maintain product copy for brands websites and media kits.
Qualifications:
- At least 3+ years of experience in marketing
- Understanding of classic marketing and the roles of research, creative advertising and sales execution
- 2-3 years of copywriting and graphic design work, this is a working management position where you will need to create content
- Management of products via WordPress a plus
- Experienced in managing a small team of graphic designers/marketing specialists/interns
- Excellent analytical capabilities and the ability to structure complex situations
- Willingness of work in a self-reliant and results-oriented way in a dynamic environment
- Attitude to perform above average and to think strategically
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Convey enthusiasm
- Fluency in Microsoft Office applications
