Position Summary

The Learning and Development Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees. The role collaborates with teams to identify training and change management needs and develops strategies to address them effectively. They create training materials, organize workshops, deliver content presentations, and analyze training effectiveness through feedback mechanisms and data analysis, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.

What will your job entail?

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Identifies training needs within the organization by conducting assessments, surveys, and analyzing performance data to determine skill gaps and learning opportunities.
  2. Designs, develops, and updates training programs and materials tailored to the needs of different teams or job roles within the insurance firm.
  3. Manages various learning initiatives, including scheduling training sessions, booking venues or virtual platforms, managing enrollment, and tracking attendance.
  4. Implements and maintains the learning management systems (LMS) or other learning technologies used to deliver training content, track employee progress, and generate reports on learning metrics.
  5. Curates learning resources such as e-learning modules, videos, job aids, and other training materials to support different learning objectives and modalities.
  6. Collects and analyzes learning data to track key performance indicators (KPIs), measures the impact of training initiatives, and generate reports for stakeholders to inform decision-making.
  7. Provides ongoing support to employees and managers by offering resources and guidance related to skill development, career advancement, and performance improvement.
  8. Ensures employees are up-to-date with regulatory and compliance requirements, develops and delivers training programs related to insurance industry regulations, ethics, and legal standards.
  9. Promotes a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization through communication campaigns, recognition programs, and fosters a supportive learning environment.


Work Experience and Education:

  1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Learning and Development is preferred.
  2. Bachelor’s degree required.
  3. Insurance or IT experience preferred.
  4. Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design principles.
  5. Knowledge of Organized Change Management routines, standards and procedures.
  6. Ability to align learning initiatives with business goals.
  7. Ability to learn multiple systems and maintain expert level proficiency.
  8. Experience with software such as AIM, ImageRight, ConceptOne, or Salesforce preferred.
  9. Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships and communicate with cross-functional partners.
  10. Skilled in utilizing media production, web design, and/or email distribution software.
  11. Experience with GenAI tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot preferred.

The target salary range for this position is $68,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually.

The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
