Job Description:

As a PPT and Digital media designer on a 1-year contract, you’ll join a culturally diverse group of 90+ strategic and creative explorers at an in-house advertising agency for a biopharmaceutical company with 29,000+ employees.

You’ll be part of a close-knit team—senior designers, web developers, motion artists, writers, editors, and account managers—that partners with cross-functional stakeholders to support 30+ leading brands. Together, you’ll develop multichannel materials for affiliates in 80+ countries.

You’ll love working in modern, eco-friendly buildings with bright, open interior spaces. Time for a break? Grab a coffee or snack in the on-site Starbucks, enjoy a full meal in the tricked-out cafeteria, work up a sweat in the spacious gym, or take a stroll along the nature path on campus.

Responsibilities:

Create and update content-heavy PowerPoint presentations on PC and Mac
Interpret complex information and concepts and translate them into easy-to-understand graphs, charts, and infographics
Familiar with Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator to edit, resize, and enhance images and artwork for use within PowerPoint
Use Acrobat to apply annotations from editors and clients
Create digital and print materials: infographics, trade show graphics and engagements, journal ads, banner ads, user interfaces, emails, websites, interactive PDFs, and more
Work side by side with creative managers, writers, and account managers to complete presentations
Communicate with creative and project teams and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment
Willing to take instruction and adapt to established formatting guidelines; ability to add creative value when needed
Perform photo and vector searches on stock websites and internal databases
Work overtime on-site when needed to complete time-sensitive projects
Conceptualize and execute materials that meet brand standards
Develop creative solutions within the confines of FDA regulations

Must-Have:
Education + Experience: Bachelor’s degree in design or related discipline; 2+ years of experience working in a creative agency environment
Technical skill: Proficiency in PowerPoint; knowledge of Word, Excel, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator; fluency in both PC and Mac environments; maintaining awareness of current design trends and new techniques and technology
Soft skill: High degree of organizational skill and initiative to drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment; ability to absorb and respond to constructive feedback from clients and creative management; ability to turn projects around quickly as well as good problem-solving and presentation skill
Resume: A tailored resume that highlights skills and experience relevant to this role
Portfolio: Portfolio must include a variety of dynamic PowerPoint presentations that showcase slide transitions, animated elements, video, data visualization, and good typography. Present another brand/design work for digital materials: infographics, banner ads, emails, and interactive PDFs
Working files: Bring working PowerPoint files and other creative digital work to on-site interviews and be prepared to walk us through your creative thinking and problem-solving solutions

Nice to Have (but not required):
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Keynote, Staffbase, Knak, and XD
