Job Title: Full Stack Developer

Location: 100% remote Addison, TX

Pay rate: $65 TO 72/HR

Position Summary:

Seeking a talented and driven Full Stack Developer or Software Engineer, Full Stack with 2–4 years of experience to join dynamic Healthcare IT team. Will play a key role in developing and maintaining secure, scalable applications that support patient experiences, clinical workflows, healthcare data exchange, patient portals, and backend infrastructure.

This role is ideal for a developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for improving patient care through technology, and is eager to grow their skill set in healthcare space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, analysts and QA testers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive digital experiences.

• Develop, test, and maintain robust full-stack web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.

• Translate functional and technical requirements into well-architected, secure, and compliant solutions.

• Utilize programming languages like JavaScript, Java, HTML, SQL, Python

• Work with RESTful APIs, FHIR, HL7, and other healthcare data standards for system integration.

• Implement and manage databases with a focus on performance and data integrity (SQL/NoSQL).

• Experience in designing scalable, high-performance applications

• Utilize AI tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate development and improve quality

• Ensure HIPAA-compliant development practices and support system audits.

• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.

• Monitor production environments, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing maintenance and enhancements.

• Document code, technical solutions, and system design.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience.

• 1+ years of experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service

• Proficient in both front-end and back-end technologies such as:

o Front-End: React.js, Angular, or Vue.js; HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript.

o Back-End: Node.js, .NET Core, Python, or Java.

• Strong experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server).

• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control best practices.

• Familiarity with healthcare-specific data formats (FHIR, HL7, CCD) and EHR/EMR systems integration.

• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data privacy practices.

Preferred:

• Experience developing applications using Outsystems

• Experience with UI frameworks

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Understanding of DevOps principles and monitoring tools.
