Reports To: Finance Manager / Director of Finance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting financial data, preparing reports, building financial models, and providing strategic insights that drive business performance and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze current and past financial data to identify trends and make forecasts.
  2. Develop, maintain, and improve financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making.
  3. Create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
  4. Support the preparation of budgets, variance analysis, and rolling forecasts.
  5. Evaluate investment opportunities, perform cost-benefit analyses, and track KPIs.
  6. Work cross-functionally with departments to provide financial guidance and support.
  7. Assist in ad hoc financial analysis and reporting projects as requested.
  8. Monitor industry trends and economic data that could affect company performance.
  9. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial systems and reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  2. 1–3 years of experience in a financial analysis or corporate finance role.
  3. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, charts).
  4. Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  5. Familiarity with accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).
  6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  7. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Ability to present financial insights clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences.
  9. Experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus.
  10. SQL knowledge is a plus but not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, FMVA, CPA).
  2. Experience in [industry—e.g., SaaS, manufacturing, healthcare] is a plus.
