This position requires a creative and analytical mindset, combining the ability to develop compelling content with a keen understanding of performance metrics.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performance Reporting
- Implement robust analytics tools and methodologies to monitor content performance across different channels
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of content and its impact on organizational goals.
- Generate and present regular reports and insights to editorial leadership team and make data-driven recommendations to improve content performance
Content Strategy
- Conduct keyword research and optimize content for search engine optimization (SEO)
- Utilize content management systems to upload and manage website content (WordPress)
- Act as a content consultant for editorial leadership team, providing guidance on effective communication strategies
- Collaborate with the editorial leadership team and other internal stakeholders to develop and execute innovative and on-brand social media marketing campaigns
Content Execution
- Collaborate with editorial team on integrated campaigns and initiatives to amplify the impact of content across various social media platforms
- Create and publish high quality daily briefs covering current events that align with the company's brand and target audience
- Edit and proofread web content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency
- Create high-quality, engaging content for various channels, including but not limited to the website, social media platforms, newsletters, and other communication mediums
- Schedule sharing of digital content via Constant Contact email managament system
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain consistent contact with remote leadership team
- Proficiency with WordPress
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and ability to implement them in web content
- Proficiency with Google Analytics
- Excellent copywriting skills with a focus on creating engaging content
- Ability to organize and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency across all content
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media trends, and content best practices
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years experience in digital content creation/marketing and/or digital content management.
Salary Range for this position: $52,000-58,000 depending on experience.
