Cost Accountant Responsibilities:

• Keep an eagle eye on quality standards and make quick adjustments when needed.
• Enjoy a clean and safe work environment.
• Handle month-end and quarter-end closing with ease.
• Lead the charge in budgeting and forecasting.
• Make inventory reconciliation a breeze.
• Dive into cost center controlling, production tracking, and financial reporting.
• Craft insightful reports to summarize business activity and financial trends.
• Tackle variance analysis and explore "what-if" scenarios.
• Monitor commitments, costs, and contingencies.
• Get creative with ad hoc product/plant cost analysis.
• Be the go-to person for auditors when it comes to controlling matters.
• Embrace flexibility and take on additional tasks as needed.

Cost Accountant Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree with a strong focus on Finance and/or Accounting (Experience can stand in for a degree).
• At least 3 years' experience in cost accounting and financial analysis in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency with SAP FI/CO modules.
• Solid skills in Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
