We are a growing company looking for a highly skilled WordPress Developer to join us on a contract basis. You’ll work with our team to ensure our digital presence remains functional, secure, and scalable. This is a 6-month contract with the potential for extension based on performance and project needs.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will assist with the following areas:

Website Development

1. Develop and implement custom website code based on specific project requirements
2. Track, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and technical issues

Website Maintenance

1. Perform regular backups of the website
2. Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities
3. Manage plugin and theme updates to maintain site stability

Website Design Support

1. Create and update new pages based on business needs
2. Support visual design and layout of new or existing content

Cloud Services Support

1. Review and provide recommendations on cloud infrastructure
2. Address and resolve security issues
3. Optimize cloud costs
4. Ensure reliable backup of cloud-based resources

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of professional WordPress development experience
2. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL
3. Experience with cloud platforms
4. Understanding of website security best practices
5. Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with team members

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with website performance optimization
2. Familiarity with SEO best practices
3. Background in UI/UX design

Contract Details:

1. Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of extension
2. Remote work flexibility
3. Flexible hours, must be available for regular check-ins with the team
