As a Content Designer in Product Experience Design, you’ll partner with teams of designers, researchers, product managers and engineers to create compelling experiences.

In this role, you’ll work as a conversation designer on the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) team, defining human-centric conversation and generative AI strategies that bring our brand voice to life.
This position is remote eligible, which means you would work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location.
What you’ll do
Craft
- Lead content strategy and creation for key product features
- Leverage content patterns, content design systems, accessibility practices, and iterative design cycles
- Identify and define what matters most in complex product moments
Strategy
- Demonstrate strong problem definition, storytelling, and prioritization
- Articulate clearly the influence of content on product direction
Partnership
- Work independently and collaboratively, effectively managing feedback and advancing alignment with cross-functional partners
- Give and receive feedback, participate in rituals, and share knowledge
Impact
- Drive project process through consistent output and proactive problem solving
- Measure the impact of work against business goals
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human-centered design product design, human computer interaction, graphic design, information architecture, multimedia, communication, marketing, journalism instructional design, related field, or equivalent industry experience
- 2 or more years of experience as a content designer or conversation designer, or 4 or more years in a content-related role (e.g., copywriter, UX writer, information architect, or UX designer specializing in writing)
- Knowledge of Experience Design principles and deliverables.
- Intermediate to advanced skills with tools such as Visio, Miro, Figma, Axure or related tools
- Case studies including content design deliverables
- Intermediate ability to communicate design concepts effectively, build consensus, and justify decisions
- Preferred qualifications
- 2 or more years’ experience working in ecommerce or other large, multi-channel environment.
- Understanding of or work in IVR systems
- Experience envisioning, defining and modeling end-to-end, multichannel experiences
- Ability to balance iterative product development with a cohesive and holistic view of the customer journey
- Basic understanding of designing for WCAG 2.1/508 accessibility standards
