Job Description:

Our client is seeking a contract Content Creator to support Talent Acquisition during our Workday ATS implementation. This role is responsible for crafting thoughtful, on-brand content that enhances the experience of candidates, hiring managers, and internal TA team members throughout the hiring process.

The ideal candidate brings strong writing and editing skills, a user-first mindset, and the ability to translate technical or operational content into clear, engaging messages. This person will play a critical role in shaping the voice and experience within Workday by drafting automated candidate and hiring manager communications, supporting internal launch materials, and helping elevate the clarity and consistency of enablement content created by the TA team.

This role will report to Talent Acquisition Enablement and will work across multiple workstreams, tools, and stakeholder groups throughout the ATS implementation.

Responsibilities:

Candidate & Hiring Manager Communications (Workday ATS)

  1. Draft clear, personalized, and brand-aligned automated messages for candidates and hiring managers within Workday (e.g., application confirmations, interview updates, rejections, task alerts).
  2. Ensure messages balance professionalism, warmth, and clarity — reinforcing a strong candidate and hiring manager experience.
  3. Collaborate with TA Enablement and HR Tech teams to test message placement, tone, and flow throughout the system.

Internal Content for ATS Launch

  1. Create internal articles and landing page content to support navigation of our new ATS experience.
  2. Draft copy for internal user portals and content hubs — helping guide users to the right job aids, user guides, and FAQs.
  3. Work with Enablement to structure content in a way that is simple, friendly, and easy to use for recruiters, coordinators, and hiring teams.

Content Review & Editing

  1. Support editing, formatting, or rewriting of existing documentation created by the TA Enablement team (e.g., job aids, user guides, FAQs).
  2. Provide feedback or rewrites to enhance clarity, structure, tone, and brand alignment.
  3. Help standardize messaging across materials for a unified voice and experience.

Internal Communication Drafting

  1. Draft smaller-scale internal communications for the TA team — including email updates, process announcements, or weekly summaries.
  2. Partner with or create first drafts for broader internal comms in collaboration with client’s Internal Communications team for company-wide updates related to ATS changes.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a writer, content strategist, or communication specialist — preferably within HR, Talent Acquisition, or tech implementation projects.
  2. Strong understanding of how to tailor messaging to different audiences (candidates, hiring managers, recruiters).
  3. Ability to write clearly, concisely, and in a brand-aligned voice across multiple formats (emails, system messages, intranet pages, help guides).
  4. Comfort working cross-functionally and iteratively with stakeholders from Enablement, HR Tech, Internal Comms, and Recruiting.
  5. Basic understanding of TA workflows or recruiting lifecycle.
  6. Experience aligning content to brand tone, style guides, and voice frameworks.
