Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a local property management organization to hire a Community Manager for their SW Portland, OR property. If you have been in leasing and looking to take the next step in your career, or if you are looking for a change, this is a great opportunity that can start immediately. We are seeking candidates with at least one year of HUD, LIHTC or similar experience within the residential property management space to take this on.

Position Details:

  • Industry: Residential Property Management
  • Duration: 2-3 month contract (with potential to be extended or turn permanent)
  • Pay: $25-$30 per hour DOE
  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
  • Location: Onsite in SW Portland, OR (parking provided)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create leasing contracts for new tenants, and manage the waitlist for leasing units
  • Conduct apartment walk throughs, inspections and tours
  • Assist with tenant relations such as collecting rent, processing payments, and scheduling maintenance
  • Maintain compliance for all tenant contracts, tenant relations matters and equal housing opportunities requirements
  • Track and reconcile the property's accounts receivable
  • Complete weekly reporting

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • One or more years of experience working in the property management Industry (can be as an Assistant, a Community Manager, Property Manager etc) specifically in the HUD or LIHTC space
  • Experience using a property management system such as AppFolio, Yardi, Tenant Tech or similar
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Reliability very important
