Job Description:

The purpose of this job is to provide basic application development and software support, complete assigned tasks and create reports to meet business requirements.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities - The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description

  1. Provides software support. Identifies inefficient processes, proposes and creates innovative technical solutions, and makes recommendations to streamline business operations.



  1. Provides customer end user support and assistance and creates Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Processes work orders and change orders, troubleshoots, and resolves issues with website and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and verifies updates are complete and accurate.


  1. Assists with development of software and websites, builds and validates workflow functionality within ERP systems, and creates reports in support of business needs.


  1. Assists with analyzing web applications for security vulnerabilities and implements corrections as required to ensure compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Ensures software applications are up to date and adheres to business rules.


  1. Creates and tracks tickets submitted to vendors; communicates to troubleshoot problems and validate functionality of resolutions.


  1. Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.


  1. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience - An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered

Education and Experience


  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field



  1. 1 to 3 years’ experience in software development and support


Licenses or Certifications


  1. None


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities which may be representative, but not all-inclusive of those commonly associated with this position

Knowledge of:


  1. Python, PHP, SQL, MySQL, PowerShell, JSON, XML, JQuery, JavaScript, WordPress, Android SDK, X-Code, and CSS.



  1. Crystal reports, Structured Query Language (SQL), Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and/or reporting software tools.


  1. Basic business English usage, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.


Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).Skill in:


  1. Communicating verbally and in writing to meet the needs of the audience.


  1. Maintaining attention to detail.


  1. Negotiating with others.


Ability to:


  1. Identify inefficient processes and suggests innovative technical solutions.


  1. Learn standard programming languages and Application Programmable Interfaces (API) related to job duties.
