StretchLab Lafayette has an amazing opportunity to gain experience in a new modality that is taking the fitness industry by storm. If you are a personal trainer, yoga/dance/Pilates instructor, physical therapist, massage therapist, chiropractic aide or come from kinesiology, athletic, and sports science background, we want you in our team! We are looking for stretching professionals and practitioners who will provide one-on-one assisted stretches, as well as lead guided group stretching classes. You’ll become a certified Flexologist™ through StretchLab’s proprietary Flexologist™ Training Program (FTP) that ensures our members receive a world-class stretching experience. FTP is the United States’ first nationally accredited program for assisted stretching by the Institute of Credentialing Excellence (ICE) .

Job responsibilities:

• Deliver best-in-class member care through one-on-one assisted stretching sessions
• Partner with members in their health journey by developing a personalized program to achieve their mobility, range of motion, and flexibility goals
• Encourage, motivate, and educate members on proper stretching techniques
• Build and retain members by keeping a strong social media presence
• Ensure follow-up appointments are scheduled and comprehensive notes are entered in member’s profile after each session
• Enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and required educational presentations to keep knowledge current on new industry standards and relevant continuing education
• Ensure all studio stretching equipment are sanitized to ensure member safety at all times
• Assist with studio tours, pop-ups, demos, and other community events/promotions

  Qualifications:

• Passion for helping people in their health, fitness, and wellness journey to live their best lives
• Love of boutique fitness environment and experience in collaborating with members providing hands-on training and education
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment that welcomes everyone from all backgrounds
• Passion for connecting with people, making a positive impact, and building relationships with the community
• Excellent communication skills that exhibit empathy and human kindness
• Professional work ethic, reliable, and adhere to studio policies
• Degree in Kinesiology, Athletic/Sports Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, Human Biomechanics, Human Anatomy/Movement emphasis or related field
• State Licensure/Certification in Athletic Training, PT/PTA, fitness, personal training, or other related bodywork certifications
