Yelp is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced WordPress Web Producer with demonstrated ability to drive enterprise B2B marketing websites from concept to launch including ongoing maintenance and optimizations.
The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, a keen eye for detail, enjoys working with cross-functional teams, and is passionate about creating great online user experiences. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple websites for various business marketing units, working with stakeholders from different teams to design, build and optimize website content.
This opportunity requires you to be located in the United Kingdom.
Where You Come In:
- You will maintain and manage Wordpress websites including the creation and revision of site pages
- You will oversee web projects from inception to launch, including gathering requirements, defining scope, developing technical specifications, managing project timelines and development resources, QA testing, and post-launch documentation
- You will assess and troubleshoot reports of bugs and security threats, repairing or escalating as needed
- You will plan and execute website maintenance tasks and digital marketing enhancements
- You will develop and maintain training procedures for web content contributors
- You will establish and maintain strong relationships with members of the IT and Business Technology engineering departments
What it Takes to Succeed:
- Wordpress experience is a must
- Strong grasp of web hosting and domain management practices
- Knowledge of web governance, including understanding of relevant laws and regulations regarding web privacy and data protection
- Understanding of the principles of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and the fundamentals of content marketing
- Experience using HTML/CSS and Adobe Creative Studio
- Familiarity with PHP and Javascript programming languages
- Well-versed in website analytics strategy, implementation, and reporting using platforms such as Google Analytics.
- Experience managing projects using software such as Jira or Wrike
