Our client is a leading Christian healthshare ministry based in the Midwest seeking an experienced and faith-driven Web Developer with a strong focus in WordPress development.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain two WordPress-based websites, ensuring high performance, security, and responsiveness.
2. Customize themes, plugins, and other WordPress components to meet client needs.
3. Collaborate with the design and content teams to implement cohesive and engaging web experiences.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring continuous improvement in functionality and user experience.
5. (Bonus) Leverage knowledge of C#, JavaScript, SQL Server, and API development to enhance site features and integrations.

Requirements

1. 2-5 years of hands-on experience with WordPress development.
2. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and PHP with a focus on WordPress architecture and customization.
3. Familiarity with web development best practices, security, and performance optimization.

Bonus Skills

1. (Preferred but not required) C# experience for backend tasks and integrations.
2. JavaScript skills for front-end enhancements and interactive elements.
3. Experience with SQL Server for managing and querying databases.
4. API Development skills for seamless integrations with third-party applications
