Celebrity Cruises are looking for a Website & Content Executive EMEA on a 12 months fixed term contract basis. Working within the Celebrity Cruises Digital / Ecommerce Team, this role reports into the Lead-Growth Marketing and is responsible for the management of the EMEA Celebrity websites. With direct channels being a key strategic priority for the business, this role needs to ensure the EMEA websites are highly relevant and highly performing. Having responsibility of the overall EMEA web content and merchandising strategy, you will support with the development and delivery of high-quality, innovative content which will showcase and sell our incredible products to help achieve our ambitious growth targets. Being highly analytical, the role requires ongoing analysis of website performance allowing insight and data to feed into functionality and development recommendations for the EMEA markets.

  • Manage the EMEA celebrity websites content and merchandising strategy, building optimised landing pages, making regular content and promotional updates via the CMS platforms ensuring the websites are always up to date, accurate and aligned with the markets commercial strategies.
  • Develop close working relationships with the web, content and product teams in Miami to ensure developments within the global web platform are rolled out and optimised for the EMEA markets.
  • Work closely with Digital, CRM, Brand and Revenue teams to create, optimise, and deliver website content, ensuring it is engaging and aligned with our brand's guidelines and promotional calendars to support the execution of a consistent customer journey though all marketing touchpoints.
  • Oversee the development and testing of new website functionality, content deployment and technical changes, developing and owning a robust QA testing framework, ensuring it is followed on the deployment of all EMEA website updates. Collaborate with the Miami website and technical teams to ensure any issues such as broken links, book flow errors/error messaging and site downtime are reported and resolved promptly.
  • Work alongside the Lead - Growth Marketing to continually monitor and review the EMEA website performances against online KPIs and identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Create and present monthly web insight reports to help inform the web content and UX strategy, including but not limited to supporting with the roll-out of any new digital projects and usability testing.
  • Collaborating with the Digital Media Executive and our external SEO agency, implementing SEO web strategies. Manage EMEA SEO content ensuring it incorporates recommendations for SEO improvements. Monitor and evaluate SEO performance with a view to improving search engine rankings.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and competitor activity, sharing with the wider organisation as appropriate.
  • Raise PO’s, update budget trackers and support the team with financial administration.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary to deliver the digital marketing strategy in line with agreed business targets.

 

 

PERSONAL ATTITUDE AND SKILLS:

 

 

  • Highly organised and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivation with a can-do attitude, being action orientated with the ability to learn quickly and understand business priorities
  • Strong Copywriting skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Analytical skills with experience of extracting and utilising data insights (Ideally from Adobe)
  • Previous experience using Content Management Systems to manage website content an advantage
  • Basic Adobe Photoshop and HTML knowledge an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence with dealing with internal and external partners
  • Calm under pressure

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

  • Proven understanding of web technology and web analytics tools
  • 2-3 years digital/ecommerce experience
  • A passion for engaging and impactful digital experiences
  • Educated to a degree level preferable
  • Matrix organisation experience preferable
