Your Impact

The Web Developer will be responsible for contributing to development activities supporting Merchandising Planning and Programming Systems. As part of the software development team supporting the strategic & transformative initiatives, the ideal candidate will provide thought leadership and drive standards and designs. The Web Developer will develop and foster close relations with key stakeholders within the business organization as well as the IT organization to understand their requirements and to help shape the implementation roadmap supporting strategic business goals.  

What You'll Do

• Provides thought leadership to the rest of the development team  

• Mentor junior staff members  

• Help Scrum Master in determining the sequence of development execution  

• Own and deliver design artifacts for each sprint  

• Work closely with Solution and Enterprise Architecture to ensure strategic solutions are in line with an enterprise reference architecture  

• ​ Own and lead CI/CD implementation for the product (including establishing code quality practices, code merge practices, establishing test automation practices)(using toolsets such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Octopus, Maven, Artifactory, Xebia, Jmeter, Junit, etc.) 

What You Bring

• 4+ years of related experience

• Experience with Web Development (HTML, CSS, Javascript), general system delivery

• Experience with Front End frameworks like Angular/React/Vue

• Expertise in building RESTful APIs and applications using Java or .NET

• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud is a plus

• Experience with Spring Batch & Spring Integration is a plus

• Experience with UI/UX design, wireframe tools, mock-ups, prototypes and high-fidelity designs is a plus

• Experience with cloud-native app architecture and design principles is a plus

• Experience with RDBMS and/or NoSQL DB/Object-oriented DB a plus

• Experience with deploying to Containers, knowledge of cloud-native app architecture and design principles 

• Experience with Agile methodology (Scrum)
