About the Role:
We’re looking for a UX/ Technical Writer to help DigniFi’s users feel welcome and empowered, carefully considering tone and writing content that's consistent with DigniFi’s mission of inclusivity. We have a small but mighty UX team, so we’re looking for someone who is resourceful, flexible, and can effectively prioritize their work.
Though the primary focus of this role is UX writing, this person will need to be comfortable writing content for multiple channels (including emails, tutorials, product newsletters, landing pages, and occasionally marketing copy) and documenting products and processes.
To be successful in this role:
1. You are a phenomenal communicator: You can effectively sell an idea or communicate a concept to anyone across the organization. It’s your job to communicate in a way that helps humanize the brand across every touchpoint.
2. You ask good questions: Asking questions is not enough. You should know what kind of questions you need to ask (e.g. “How we can do this better?” or “Do we really need this feature?”) and who is the right person to answer.
3. You must have empathy for our customers: You have a strong desire to understand the customer and find ways to empower them. If you can’t step into the shoes of a service advisor, sales manager, or GM, you will never understand what they really want or how you can simplify their job.
4. You are a doer: It’s always good to start experimenting vs overthinking the pros and cons.
5. You must be organized: You will be multitasking most of the time so keeping your tasks organized is key. You want to focus on more important things; not finding design mockups you saved somewhere.
6. You have a sense of humor: Be prepared to answer some curious trivia questions. We work hard, but we also have fun!

Above and beyond discrimination and harassment based on “protected categories,” we also strive to prevent other subtler forms of inappropriate behavior (i.e., stereotyping) from ever gaining a foothold in our company.
