Title: UI Engineer

Location – Bay Area, CA/Remote

We are looking for a skilled UI Engineer proficient in React and JavaScript to design and develop modern, responsive web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with both frameworks and a strong understanding of front-end development principles. Bilingual in English & Japanese language.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain user interfaces using React, Angular, and JavaScript.

• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and backend developers, to deliver seamless user experiences.

• Optimize web applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Translate wireframes and designs into high-quality code.

• Troubleshoot UI issues and ensure smooth functionality across devices.

• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in front-end development using React and Node.js.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features.

• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.

• Experience integrating RESTful APIs into front-end applications.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TypeScript in Angular or React projects.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, or Jest.

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles.
