Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Planning Specialist 3 (TPS3) within the Environmental & Hydraulic Services (EHS) Office, Roadside and Site Development Unit. The TPS3 will support the agency’s mission by ensuring that highway projects are designed, constructed, and maintained in compliance with agency policies, procedures, and practices. This position is a professional landscape designer responsible for supporting the development and implementation of roadside and environmental restoration and mitigation projects. The TPS3 works to restore and improve highway roadsides, streambanks, wetlands, and urban landscapes so they meet functional needs, commitments, and permit requirements while having low long-term costs.
