At Crossroads Photonics we help researchers and engineers to leverage state of the art optical devices and laser technology in their work to enable new applications in science, material analysis, medicine and industry. We work closely with three European laser technology manufacturers (APE, CryLaS and LTB) to create an excellent customer experience. Together with our partners we define, sell and support unique products and services, driven by state of the art laser technology.

About the position

In this position you can make a difference in a small evolving team that brings some of the best laser technology to the most advanced applications.

We have an opening for a person who has a scientific or optical engineering background, and an interest to build a business segment in a flexible work environment.

You will be in charge of a business segment and the associated client base in order to drive business growth and you will personally benefit from the business expansion.

With the authority and responsibility to handle and manage customer support cases, you will create a superior customer experience based on technical expertise, responsiveness and consistency.

The offered position will be at the heart of Crossroads Photonics’ mission: bringing the best laser technology to the most advanced applications.

We work with several manufacturers on projects regarding business and technical development, product distribution, customer support and product service. Our technology ranges from non-linear optics instruments, laser diagnostic, UV lasers to ultrafast lasers systems.

We support applications such as spectroscopy, microscopy, life and health science, quantum physics and information technology, laser based material processing and bio-chemical analytics.

The job requires hands-on experience with optical technology and will allow you grow to become a technical expert for state-of-the-art laser technology products, including lasers, diagnostics, non-linear optics systems and laser based analysis systems.

Your qualifications and traits

• Able to navigate a complex technical and business environment
• Committed to develop a strong business acumen
• Practical experience with optical and laser based devices
• Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in science related to optical or laser technologies
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Able to travel internationally
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
