Your Role
 

 

The Technical Project Manager will be charged with creating teams and developing project plans while maintaining effective communication, documentation, project activities and deadlines. The PM will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed safely, on-time, and within budget.
 

 

  • Lead assigned projects. Serve as technical liaison for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide effective project management support for strategic capital equipment projects.
  • Lead the co-development and launch teams to ensure timely deliverables for new products.
  • Ensure global project management standards are developed and adhered to. Maintain project management best practices globally.
  • Effectively report on progress of all projects to upper management.
  • Identity, communicate, and resolve any project concerns.
  • Track project schedules, timelines, and budget, and develop mitigation plans to resolve any project delays.
  • Manage technology transfer projects between manufacturing sites.
  • Develop project plans supporting continuous improvement, evaluation, execution, tracking, and reporting.
  • Prioritize all project tasks accordingly and drive project completion.
  • Support new process equipment (preparing and submitting quotation requests, equipment suppliers, compiling proposals, coordinating follow-ups, handle decision making, preparing and processing appropriations requests, issuing POs for equipment purchases).
  • Manage third party suppliers in order to obtain new equipment, services, and/or purchase materials.
  • Additional duties may be assigned time-to-time.

Annual Salary Range (dependent on experience) $118,000 - $140,000

Bachelor's degree in related field of study (engineering, biology, chemistry, etc.) 5-7 years of related pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience. Project Management expertise. Experience in general and technical management of projects. Applicable experience in diagnostics/bio-devices and/or with injection plastics is a plus. Strong ability to resolve technical issues and address validation requirements. Ability to develop and administer budget plans. Strong quality control, compliance, regulatory affairs and product development knowledge. Ability to succeed in a team-oriented, goal-focused environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong computer skills. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
