Position: Project Engineer

Industry: IT Managed Services Provider

Salary: Up to $120,000

Location: Fully Remote

Do you have experience working in a Managed Services Environment?

Are you a seasoned generalist with the ability to walk into any environment, find the gaps, and recommend impactful solutions?

What You’ll Do:

1. Work across the full project lifecycle for clients, designing and implementing solutions, as well as involving in the pre-sales portion.
2. Assess and evaluate client environments, identifying vulnerabilities, risks, and areas for improvement.
3. Engage in diverse projects, from mergers & acquisitions assessments to infrastructure upgrades.
4. Work across cloud and server infrastructure (AD, Azure, M365, virtualization, etc.), networking (Fortigate, Cisco, Meraki, Ubiquiti etc.) and more.
5. Collaborate with internal teams, including Cloud Engineers, while leveraging your broad IT expertise.
6. Partner with Sales Executives in a presales and solutions capacity, identifying risks and crafting tailored IT solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

☑️Must have experience working in a Managed Services Provider Environment.

✅ Jack of all trades, master of none – a versatile, experienced generalist with an MSP background.

✅ Solid server infrastructure knowledge – Azure, M365, Active Directory, virtualization, app servers, Exchange

✅ Strong networking experience – familiarity with Fortigate, Cisco, Meraki, and Ubiquiti is a plus.

✅ Confidence and presence to interface with C-suite executives effectively.

✅ Ability to quickly adapt to new environments, ask the right questions, and deliver actionable insights.
